Day 10

17th Feb

2Ch 20:21  After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.”

  • I want you to catch this.

  • Jehoshaphat didn’t assemble his army, he assembled the men to sing praises, the singers to go first.

We are the champions, my friends. And we’ll keep on fighting ’til the end
We are the champions, We are the champions
No time for losers. ‘Cause we are the champions of the world

  • They didn’t go out singing a victory song.

  • But instead, they declared beauty and splendour and majesty of God.

  • They praised him for the splendour of his holiness.

  • The bible says that Jehoshaphat followed in the ways of his father David.

Psa 27:1  Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation  whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?

Psa 27:2  When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.

Psa 27:3  Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.

Psa 27:4  One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

  • What a battle plan, what a battle strategy

  • As the army advances, as the crisis grows, as the challenges become overwhelming, we simply get lost in the beauty of the Lord.

Psa 29:2  Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

Psa 96:9  Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.

Psa 96:10  Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.

  • Jehoshaphat understood that instinctively because his name means “God has judged”

  • He knew that God already has made a verdict, that whom God has blessed no one can curse.

  • Today like the Israelites begin to praise him for the splendour of his holiness declaring: “Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.”

  • His love wins and His love never fails.

  • Let’s believe if you have not seen the breakthrough yet, that it is just around the corner.

So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.

As you begin to declare breakthrough in that area God will begin to establish your prayers in the spirit realm.

Tonight at 6pm we will be having a ZOOM prayer meeting. We would love you to join us: The link is below
