Day 15

22nd Feb

Isaiah 61:2 NIV to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

Isaiah 61:3 NIV and provide for those who grieve in Zion- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.

Isaiah 61:7 NIV Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.

Here is the truth about the power of prayer.

  • God wants to turn you from being a victim into a victor.

  • He wants to turn your disasters in to deliverances.

  • God wants that those around you will see you and you will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour.

  • God wants to turn your tests into testimonies.

  • God wants us to display his splendour.

  • He wants you to be like a big strong towering oak tree.

  • Throughout the Bible the oak tree is referred to as a symbol of strength and endurance. The strength of the oak does not come from what you can see of it above the surface; rather, its enduring strength comes from the roots that cannot be seen by the naked eye.

  • Our strength comes from the Lord.

  • As we prepare to be a trophy of God’s grace and miraculous power remember that it is also God’s promise to remove all guilt and shame, to remove disgrace.

  • God wants you to rejoice in your inheritance.

Colossians 1:12 NIV giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.

Colossians 1:13 NIV For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,

Colossians 1:14 NIV in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

  • Our deliverer Jesus Christ has delivered us and qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints.

  • Our Inheritance is everything Christ accomplished for us on the cross of Calvary.

THE CROSS IS THE PLACE OF EXCHANGE

  • Jesus identified with our separation from God so we could identify ourselves with the family of God.

  • Jesus identified with our powerlessness so that we could identify with his deliverance from the power of darkness.

  • Jesus identified with our punishment of death so that we could identify with his forgiveness and pardon of sin.

  • Jesus identified with the bondage so that we could be set free from the curse.

  • Jesus identified with our curse so we could identify with his blessing.

  • Jesus identified with our sin so we could identify with his righteousness.

  • Jesus identified with our sickness so we could identify with his health.

  • Jesus identified with our poverty so we could identify with his prosperity.

We have to understand that the victory on the cross was not only absolute, but it was completed 2000 years ago and everything that was accomplished became part of our inheritance.

So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.

So, grab the prayer goals that you have written out and begin to declare what God says about your situation.

As you begin to declare breakthrough in that area God will begin to establish your prayers in the spirit realm.
